Book overall in Very Good condition with the rebind bound in very attractive brown boards. The gilt is bright on the spine with no writing on the front board. There is no reserve price.

The Covers, adverts and Photoplate are all in place with just a couple of marks to the front cover. All the other pages appear to be complete barely a mark. The pages have been slightly trimmed but there is no text missing with red speckled edges. The hinges are good and the binding is firm.

This is a lovely rebind!

Q: Keith I bought a 1907 Wisden from you at auction on the WisdenAuction site on 2nd January. The Wisden was received promptly and appeared to be as described on that superficial inspection. On that basis I added a positive feedback message on the site. I have recently sat down to read the Wisden and have discovered that pages 345-350 are torn at the top of the page - the first 3-4 centimetres at the top of the page all the way across the page have been torn out. This was not in the description of the book on the auction and it may be that you were not aware of this. I can provide a photo of the damage if required. I would not have bought the book if I had known this prior to making a bid and I wonder therefore whether you would be prepared to buy the book back from me for the price I paid at the auction? Yours faithfully Neal Stewart  posted by: Loretto1975  11/03/2011 20:17:47
A: Hi Neal, Sorry for any delay. When Keith returns from a break I will talk to him and let you know if that is ok with you. Kind Regards Julie
