This lot is an 1902 Original Wisden , Rebound without its covers or adverts to the front, bound to the title page, it is cheap and cheerful.

Apart from the binding being a bit rickety and one advert page close to being trimmed, this is a very nice Wisden, clean inside with the photoplate and tissue gaurd. Over 100 years old and well under £100.

If you do not mind the missing adverts it is a very nice book to add to your collection.

Q: Hi Chris, Just letting you know my 1902 Wisden rebind arrived safely yesterday. I'm quite happy with it; it's actually a bit better than I expected. You described the binding as "a bit ricketty," but it's quite firm, not torn or falling apart. A bit faded, but it's an old book; it's no worse than a couple of other early 20th century editions I have. Nice photoplate. Thanks for the personal interest you've taken in my purchases. By the way, in "My Account," I notice I have two unpaid invoices listed. One was the 1898 that I tried to buy, but the seller couldn't find it. The other is a 1934 rebind that was paid for by bank cheque, and the book posted to me, back in July. The seller obviously forgot to mark it as paid. I'd delete these items from my account if I knew how. Cheers Mick  posted by: mickmac  21/01/2013 20:21:40
A: Hi Mick, Fabulous news, so glad you like it and we always talk books down more than up as no surprises then, being a collector myself I prefer it that way too, it is a long way on since old catalogues used to say "1902 rebind, Good" but I am chuffed. Re the 1898/1934 this is just an admin step, we wont send the boys round, all you can do is contact the seller (by the envelope next to the item or on Q&A of item) and ask them to mark them as paid, if they dont and it is an annoyance, just mail us and ill see if i can get it done myself (it is not in my admin panel to do) - hope this helps, Cheers, Chris
