Hi,
Today I am listing a set of Wisdens , all rebound with covers from a well travelled collector. J Kingsley Havers OBE QC son of Sir William Havers. The books have been to many places , mainly Botswana but also Kenya Belize and Gibraltar which are all listed on the bookplate. The books all tend to have worn bindings (some green some blue) but lovely inside.
In detail, in this lot we have 1910s Original Wisden Rebinds, all with covers and photoplates within, where issued, this set includes the rare WW1 Wisdens. The 1911-1919 in nicer blue boards and the 1910 in green, the green rebind is a bit shaky but the internal covers are in good order and contents very respectable. A nice cheap set. Strategy 1. The 1916 is very nice. May Split.
