This lot is an 1900 Original Hardback Wisden. In Good condition

This Wisden was purchased at auction and no restoration was stated , looking at the spine gilt it could have been restored, it takes a good eye and I would say it has been but not 100%. The front board has bright original gilt with a mark to the top of the board , the spine cloth is very good with bright (restored?) gilt. The rear board is nice. The hinges show weakness but not split. The right paste down has a crease to the top right, the glue that it is pasted down too has dried and a blank page can be seen between it and the start of the white pages (common fault, if it canbe called that, most people just think it is a blank page). Nice photoplate , a touch of spotting t it but the rest of the internal book is clean. A decent and nicely priced 1900. Just the 5th Hardback.
