Hi,

The thin WW2 hardbacks are always tricky to find, getting back to '46 isn't too tricky and the majority of sets you see come to market start at '46, the collectors first big challenge is to get complete back to the rare 1941. Here is a set from 1941 through to 1945, all Original hardbacks. 

This set will help any collector that wants to cover that gap, pay a reduced price as buying in bulk and doesn't mind the odd bit of gilt being restored. 

This set is in Very Good condition. The books have been chosen to be similar, 1941 1943 & 1944 have facsimile spine gilt , dulled on the other two (to spine , which is very common) 

Things to note are that the books are general very good, all have strong hinges, the 1945 has a speckle to the front board and as mention three have facsimile spine gilt (I class that as a defect) , strong front gilt all orginal. Odd mark to page blocks but clean pages inside, all 8/10s, we have listed a near mint and reference set today also if you prefer. This set is priced nicely as buying 5 books. Would suit many sets.
