Hi,
The early you get into the 20th Century, the harder it is to find a Paperback, even harder to find one that is original with good spine paper. Here is a set from 1910 through to 1914, all Original Paperback. No restoration.
This set will help any collector that wants to cover that gap, pay a reduced price as buying in bulk and doesn't mind the odd defect.
This set is in Good to Very Good condition. The books have been chosen to be similar, I have picked books that have a good spine paper coverage and tightly bound, they may have defects elsewhere which brings their price down (other sets are available) but look great on the shelf. All complete with very good photoplates.
Things to note about the books are : The 1911 has some large dog ears to the rear , the 1912 has J Hoyle written in ink to the front cover, the 1914 has a crease to the rear cover. Odd marks to the covers, the books have dark tinges and the 1911 is a touch darker than the others, they are all different shades of yellow/beige as that is how Wisde made them. All Original and with a lot better than average spines. This set is priced nicely as buying 5 books and the odd niggle. Would suit many sets. A 9/10 Paperback in this era are around £200 each.
More photos on request.
P&P to the UK is £20 (Special Delivery, insured & Jiffy Bag)
Enjoy and please ask any questions about this tricky collecting period.
Cheers
Chris
